Nokia 4 Details

Introduction
Nokia is back from the ashes, again. This time around, a Finnish firm; HMD Global, took the reigns of the franchise and released a range of new devices, primarily targeted at the budget to mid-range segment. The latest addition to the series is the Nokia 4; a mid-range device that is similar to the recently released Nokia 5. Not much is known about the build quality of the device, but we can expect an all-metal, aluminium body, much like the one featured in the Nokia 6.
Display and Camera
Speculations indicate that the Nokia 4 will sport a 5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920x1080 (440ppi pixel density), much like the Nokia 6. The primary camera is likely a 16-megapixel sensor with support for Phase Detection Autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR and panorama. The camera UI also includes a 'Pro Mode' which allows users to fine-tune their photos according to ambient lighting conditions. The secondary camera is an 8-megapixel shooter. The video recording capability of the cameras is expected to be capped at 1080p 30fps.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Nokia 4 will most likely use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chip clocked at 1.4GHz, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Initial renders of the Nokia 4 indicate that the fingerprint sensor will be front-mounted, consistent with all the devices they've released so far. Powering the smartphone is a 3,300mAh Li-ion battery. The Nokia 4 is expected to run a clean, customization-free version of Android Nougat 7.1.2 out of the box, with a promised update to Android Oreo 8.0 in the near future.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The Nokia 4 is a dual SIM phone, compatible with 4G and VoLTE on one SIM and 3G on the other. Other connectivity features will be 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. The Nokia 4 has the potential to be one of the better smartphones in the mid-range segment running Stock Android, and we eagerly await its release.
